Use it like a check Make your purchases with just a swipe of your card—and your signature on the receipt or your PIN—and the cost of your purchases is deducted right from your Vantage Credit Union checking account! You can use your Vantage Credit Union Check Card anywhere Visa cards are accepted. Simply present the card to the merchant. The merchant will ask you, “debit or credit?” When you say, “credit,” all you have to do is sign the receipt (just like a credit card transaction), and the dollar amount for your purchase is immediately deducted from your Vantage Credit Union account. It’s that easy! If you don’t need cash back, signing for your purchase is the fastest and easiest way to pay for your purchase. Plus, it saves the credit union money. That’s because PIN-based transactions cost the credit union money. Use it like an ATM Card Need cash? Use your Visa Check Card just as you would an ATM card. You can also make deposits, transfers or balance inquiries at any ATM bearing a CO-OP, The Exchange,* STAR,* PLUS,* Cirrus,* Visa,* or Pulse* logo. You can also use your Visa Check Card for Point-of-Sale (POS) transactions at select merchants and get cash back besides paying for your purchase by entering your PIN. Easy transaction tracking Each transaction you make with your Vantage Credit Union Visa Check Card is immediately deducted from your Vantage Credit Union checking account or Regular Savings account, and is itemized on your monthly statement. You can also view your transactions as often as you like by using our free Vantage Credit Union Online Internet banking service. Please note: Because select merchants do not post the full POS purchase amount immediately, your available balance as viewed online/via ATM/Touch Tone Teller may not immediately reflect your correct balance.
