***UPDATE*** Apple has released a patch for the iPhone (CLICK HERE)
This morning researchers at a hacker conference (Black Hat) released the details of a major security hole found in the SMS text capabilities of several cell phones. Cell phone models, on nearly every network, are affected including the Apple iPhone, some HTC based phones, and Windows Mobile Based phones.
If hackers decide to use the security hole, the attack will come as a blank text message or a text message with a single square character. If you get this on your phone, turn it off immediately and turn it back on. You will need to do this every time you get the message.
Here are a couple links that provide more information on this security bug:

Hopefully the hackers don't use this to start attacking phones, but I guess we'll have to wait and see.
Thanks,
