More Mobile - You asked for it...

     Recently, Vantage Credit Union announced the release of our first mobile applications (Link: Vantage CU Goes Mobile). Many members were excited to see us release a mobile application and after some discussions and good feedback, it was clear most of you wanted access to account information on your mobile devices. So, we are pleased to announce we are improving our mobile efforts by releasing a mobile friendly version of MyVantage Online Banking. We decided to go this direction based on member feedback and because we can cover many more devices by focusing on the website instead of device specific applications.         

     There are a few things everyone needs to know about accessing the new mobile website.  If you visit VCU.COM from a mobile phone and click on the “Log On” link at the top of the page or the “MyVantage Login” on the lefthand side you will see the new page.  The new log in page will appear and it looks exactly like our current one, but you may notice some minor changes.  First, depending on the type of mobile phone being used, you should see a link labeled “Standard Site” or “Mobile Friendly” to the right of the login button (below the username and password boxes).  These links will let you toggle between the standard site and the mobile site.  If you are on a mobile phone, our website should detect this and automatically redirect you to the mobile friendly website.  Second, the first time you access the “Mobile Friendly” website, you’ll be required to set up 3 security questions.  Each time you log in from a mobile phone, you’ll be required to answer one of your 3 security questions in addition to entering your password.



As of this time, we have tested the website on the following mobile devices:

  • Apple iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch
  • Google Android
  • Blackberry
  • If you are using a mobile device not listed above. we’d love to hear your feedback.
