Just wanted to remind people of some changes coming to vcu.com:
August 1––MyLife sites on vcu.com. We’re replacing the MyLife area of our home page with MyCommunity, bringing our Vantage community to the forefront. Under the new MyCommunity heading, you’ll be able to find our Facebook, Twitter and YouTube updates; download our iPhone and Android apps; view our calendar of events; cast your vote on our latest poll; and view and comment on our most recent posts and member comments.
For members looking for Secret Savers and Alumni Club information, you will now find it under our Value-Added Services menu on the left-side bar of our home page.
August 1––NSF and Courtesy Pay notices. In an effort to get information to you more quickly (and go green), we will no longer send insufficient funds or Courtesy Pay notices via the U.S. Postal Service. As alternatives to receiving this information by mail, you may set up an alert to be e-mailed to you, view your messages or account history via MyVantage online banking, or check your transactions through tweetMyMoney.
Reminder:
June 30––New statement format introduced. Due to changes in loan regulations (Regulation Z), Vantage has a new format for member statements that include open-end loans (excluding HELOCs).
The new format will appear at the beginning of the statement and will include total fees and interest paid on each open-end loan(s) for the current year. It will also include a year-to-date total section for all open-end loans.
The fees section will include premiums for Credit Life and Disability and other possible fees related to the loan.
Please note: even if you paid off a loan in the current year, totals for that loan will show for fees and interest paid.
Thanks,
Matt (Technovation)
