What saves paper, money and is more secure than account information sent to you via snail mail? E-statements! Are you still receiving paper statements for your accounts? If so, we encourage you to sign up for e-statements, the paperless way to review your account history. Sign up by May 31 and save money, too!

Why sign up for e-statements?

  • There’s no waiting for your statement to come in the mail

  • You have online access to previous statements for up to two years

  • Convenient .pdf versions or text versions are available for viewing and printing statements

  • You have the ability to save electronic copies of statements for your permanent archives

  • No more paper statements to file or shred

  • You’ll save on the $1 Paper Statement Fee

Receiving e-statements is more convenient. For example, right now it takes between 3-5 business days to get your statements printed and mailed. On the average, statements usually arrive between the 5th and 7th of each month. Members who receive their e-statements get their statements on the first day of the following month; they don't have to wait for mail. You’ll also receive an email notification when your e-statements are ready for viewing each month. And, you can log in to view them any time you want.

Security plays a role, too. You don’t have to worry about shredding old statement documents, which means e-statements help reduce the risk of ID theft as well. There’s quite a bit to like about e-statements!

Signing up to receive e-statements is easy! Just log onto MyVantage online banking, click on your account, click the e-Statement tab, and follow the prompts. You can do this for each of your accounts. If you’re not enrolled to manage your accounts on MyVantage, enroll today at my.vcu.com and start receiving e-statements.
