Part-Time Tellers - The following branch locations are currently seeking part-time tellers to provide exceptional service to our members:

North County
Olivette
Wentzville
Des Peres

Hours are generally 20-28 per week, with Saturday mornings required. These positions are strictly part-time but there is some potential for moving into a full-time position.

Requirements:

• 1 year of heavy cash handling experience, with teller experience a plus
• Exceptional customer service skills; friendly, upbeat personality
• Ability to multi-task, promote products and services
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Must be able to balance a cash drawer proficiently

Responsibilities:

• Process member transactions in an accurate, courteous manner
• Promote VCU products and services
• Accurately balance and secure cash drawer daily
• Count, verify and package currency and coin
• Sell cashiers checks, travelers checks, savings bonds, money orders
• Cash checks, verifying identity, signature and availability of funds
• Follow all federal regulations and internal policies

Candidates must:

• Have a strong work ethic, professional appearance
• Be able to pass a background check including having a clean credit record
• Have a professional, pleasant and friendly manner
• Be dependable, available on most Saturday mornings

Collector - We are currently seeking experienced full-time collectors to join our team at our Bridgeton location. Candidates will have the ability to work evenings, Saturdays and some holidays.

Qualifications Required:

• 1-2 years experience in consumer or credit card collections
• Skip Tracing skills
• Excellent time-management skills
• Knowledge of state/federal regulations regarding collections
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and goals

Responsibilities:

• Contact by telephone and collect from members whose accounts are more than 15 days delinquent
• Investigage reasons given for failure to pay and evaluate the situation to determine borrower's ability to meet their future obligation
• Locate delinquent borrowers whose whereabouts are unknown to the credit union
• Provide necessary research in resolving problems with a member's account, correct discrepancies and advise member of outcome on a regular basis

Security Assistant Manager - We are currently seeking a dynamic person to join our Security team as a full time Security Assistant Manager.

Required Skills:

• 3-5 years of investigative or security related experience
• Experience with investigative techniques and practices
• Basic knowledge of surveillance and alarm equipment
• Team player
• Analytical Ability, with the incisiveness to ask discerning questions
• Understanding of basic accounting procedures

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of federal/state regulations affecting credit unions

Duties:

• Coordinate maintenance, testing and training regarding company security program
• Assist with research and implementation of security management and investigation issues
• Assist with audits associated with security issues
• Obtain bids regarding maintenance/repair of alarms
• Security training and maintenance of records
• Assist with investigations and communications with local/federal law enforcement

Programmer/Analyst - We are currently seeking a dynamic person to join our Technovation team as a full-time Programmer/Analyst.

Required Skills:

• Minimum 2 years of experience working in a .Net environment (ASP.net, VB.net or C#.net)
• Must be able to perform most programming and analysis tasks independently with minimal direction
• Must have a strong knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, SQL*Server) and be proficient with SQL and T-SQL
• Must be willing to use new/foreign programming languages and techniques
• Strong written and oral communication skills

Desired Skills:

• Minimum 2 years of experience working in a php environment
• Experience with CMS technology, specifically Drupal a plus
• Experience with Cache/Ensemble database technologies
• Intimate knowledge of Javascript, CSS, Flash
• Experience with Subversion (svn) also a plus

Part-Time Financial Services Representative - We are currently seeking part-time FSRs to join our team at the O'Fallon, MO, Cave Springs and North County locations. Are you friendly, upbeat, self-motivated, and dependable? Do you enjoy building relationships with clients? Do you have a high level of initiative, energy, creativity and empathy in dealing with client needs? If so, this may be the job for you!

Other requirements include:

• 1-3 years experience, specifically in a credit union/financial setting
• Effective communicator/listener
• Excellent sales ability, good at cross selling
• Organizational skills a must
• Excellent math/analytical ability

The schedules for these positions include several weekdays plus every Saturday morning.
