Current Openings:

Part-Time Phone Center Representative—Our phone center is currently seeking part-time representatives to provide exceptional service to our members:

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years experience in a member service function
  
• Effective communication skills; ability to listen
• Ability to organize/prioritize workload
  
• Exercise tact and judgment
• Pleasant phone voice
• Ability to cross-sell products/services

Responsibilities:

• Process member transaction telephone requests which include transfers, account balances, payroll deduction questions and other general inquiries
• Process reports and requests via phone of fax
• Cross-sell appropriate services to members based on the individual's needs and/or abilities

This position is a good opportunity for someone wanting to become knowledgeable in Vantage products/services and to share this knowledge with members.

Mortgage Closer—We are seeking a Mortgage Closer to join our Mortgage Solutions team.

The incumbent should possess two or more years of mortgage-related experience. Conventional loan experience a plus. Knowledge of Federal and State regulatory requirements required. The loan closer should be team-oriented; able to see the steps necessary to get things done; able to meet deadlines; willing to put in the necessary time to get the job done–but at the same time is a good time-manager and willing to take responsibility for their own actions.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for coordinating closings with members, title companies and loan originators
  
• Review HUDs
• Review files for accuracy to ensure compliance with underwriting, government, investor and company requirements
• Prepare closing figures enter data into the mortgage system
• Prepare closing documents
• Send closing documents to the title company 48 hours prior to closing
• Communicate issues and/or concerns to management
• Perform specific and other delegated duties as assigned
• Answer department phones and transfer to the appropriate staff member to take message as needed

Part-Time Tellers–The following branch location is currently seeking part-time tellers to provide exceptional service to our members:

• We currently do not have any openings for Part-Time Tellers

Hours are generally 20-28 per week, with Saturday mornings required. These positions are strictly part-time but there is some potential for moving into a full-time position.

Requirements:

• 1 year of heavy cash handling experience, with teller experience a plus
• Exceptional customer service skills; friendly, upbeat personality
• Ability to multi-task, promote products and services
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Must be able to balance a cash drawer proficiently

 Responsibilities:

• Process member transactions in an accurate, courteous manner
• Promote Vantage products and services
• Accurately balance and secure cash drawer daily
• Count, verify and package currency and coin
• Sell cashiers checks, travelers checks, money orders
• Cash checks, verifying identity, signature and availability of funds
• Follow all federal regulations and internal policies

• Be able to pass a background check including having a clean credit record
  
• Have a professional, pleasant and friendly manner
  
• Be dependable and available most Saturday mornings
  

Part-Time Financial Services Representative–The following branch location is currently seeking part-time Financial Services Representatives to provide exceptional service to our members:

• We currently do not have any openings for Part-Time Financial Services Representatives.
  

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years experience, specifically in a credit union/financial setting
• Effective communication skills; ability to listen
• Excellent sales ability, good at cross-selling
• Organized and able to multi-task

Responsibilities:

• Interact with members to provide general credit information regarding lending policies and procedures.
•  Process loan applications and documents; correspond with members
• Compute new loan balances, terms, monthly payments, and insurance premiums, when necessary
•  Meet/exceed monthly lending and cross selling goals
• Audit new loans to verify accuracy of data.
• Open new accounts
• Handle various clerical tasks
