“When’s the next one?”
Those were just some of the questions posed at the conclusion of the recent Homebuyer Seminar held at our Administration Building in Bridgeton. The complimentary event took place May 19. Members in the market for a new home were invited to attend and were able to get answers to their home buying questions.
The event was presented by Mortgage Solutions, LLC * and Freedom Title and featured topics ranging from home financing options to the benefits of home ownership. Representatives from Credit Union Insurance Agency and United Select Realty were also on hand to field questions.
Over 20 members attended the 90-minute seminar with many questions being asked and answered such as:
- Do I need a down payment?
- How much can I afford?
- When should I apply?
- How long does the process take?
- Can I buy a foreclosed home and get a loan for repairs?
Before it was all over, some attendees had already scheduled appointments with Mortgage Solutions professionals for additional help while other attendees received insurance quotes.
Those attending the seminar left with a real appreciation for all the newly acquired knowledge, and all the positive comments point to another informational seminar in the near future.
