UPDATE: March 27, 2020

As an essential service, Vantage Credit Union remains open to serve our members as best we can during the shelter-in-place order. Our branch lobbies will remain closed until at least Saturday, April 25, 2020 in coordination with current St. Louis and St. Charles County guidelines.

Our North County, Olivette, South County, Sunset Hills, Wentzville and West County branch drive-ups are equipped to support your account and lending requests, as well as teller transactions through the drive-up. ATMs are available at all locations for your deposit, withdrawal and transfer needs. Please remember that our online banking and mobile app allow you to access pertinent account information and manage your finances without the need to visit a branch.

Our North County, Olivette, South County, Sunset Hills, Wentzville and West County branch drive-ups are open for teller transactions, all other branches have ATMs available for your deposit, withdrawal and transfer needs. Please remember that our online banking and mobile app allow you to access pertinent account information and manage your finances without the need to visit a branch.

Our branch lobbies are temporarily closing, but drive-ups remain open during regular business hours for teller transactions. Members needing loan or account assistance are encouraged to call or reach out through our website.

The COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak continues to grow globally and nationally, as well as in Missouri and Illinois. The CDC and other health experts have said that the number of cases in the United States has not yet reached its peak, and they advise a variety of “social distancing” countermeasures to minimize the spread of the virus.

Nothing is more important than the safety and wellness of our members, our employees, and our community. As such, after a great deal of consideration, we have made the decision to temporarily close all Vantage Credit Union branch lobby access starting tomorrow, March 18 until at least April 6. This time frame could change depending on future conditions, and we will keep you updated. We believe that temporarily closing our branch lobby access is the right thing to do given the unprecedented circumstances we are all facing.

It’s important to note that all of our drive-up lanes will remain open for teller transactions, except for non-member check cashing and check withdrawals through our Personal Teller Machines (PTMs). Non-transactional needs will be handled by phone or electronic means, while needs that may still require “in-person” processing will be handled through drive-up windows.

In addition, service will continue as normal through our website, online banking and mobile app, ATM network, online chat, and call center. Though our lobbies will be closed for a while, we remain open for business and are able to continue serving your loan, investment, and other financial needs.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we make adjustments to serve you in the safest manner given these highly unusual and quickly evolving circumstances. We wish you and your family good health and will provide additional updates as needed.

At Vantage Credit Union, we believe it is a top priority to provide a safe and healthy environment for our members, employees and community. Like many of you, we are closely monitoring the outbreak of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and how it is impacting society.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and other health officials, this virus can be very serious, particularly for seniors and people with adverse medical conditions. However, most people who contract the virus will experience mild-to-moderate flu-like symptoms and fully recover. Nevertheless, for the sake of our members, our employees, and the local community, we are taking precautionary actions to be a part of the larger solution. In addition, we are formulating potential adjustments to our operations for a variety of possible future scenarios. Our business continuity planning enables us to prepare, adapt and overcome challenges that are caused by unexpected disasters or disruptive events.

On Wednesday, March 11, the World Health Organization officially declared this outbreak of COVID-19 a pandemic. In the metropolitan St. Louis area, there are only a couple confirmed cases, and no “community spread” of the virus has yet occurred. As such, health officials are not recommending mass business or school closures. However, should that action eventually become necessary, we are prepared to do so and are making plans for ways we can continue to serve your financial needs with minimal disruption to you. We appreciate your understanding that, as a member, your experience could look temporarily different as we collectively adapt to this evolving situation. A degree of inconvenience might be required, but we must all work together in order to maintain a safe and healthy environment.

Currently, all of our locations are operating under normal business hours. We will continue to keep our facilities clean and disinfected. We appreciate your help in being diligent and patient as we all do our part to deal with this challenging situation. If you do not feel well, or choose not to come inside one of our branch locations, you have a variety of other ways to conduct business with Vantage Credit Union, including:

  • Our website and mobile app: you can deposit checks, verify your balances, transfer funds, apply for loans and much more from the convenience and safety of your home.
  • Call us at 314.298.0055 or 800.522.6009, we’ll be happy to assist you with an immediate need, or arrange a future consultation.
  • Our online chat provides another alternative for communicating with us.
  • If you need teller assistance (or cash), but would prefer not to come inside one of our branch locations, you can use one of our drive-up Personal Teller Machines (PTMs) at our Bridgeton, Cave Springs, East St. Louis, Greenway Chase, O’Fallon or Twin Cities branch locations.
  • We also have many ATMs located throughout the metropolitan St. Louis area, and participate in the CO-OP Network which gives you free access to make cash withdrawals and perform other transactions at tens of thousands of ATMs nationwide.

Please Be Aware of Scams Related to the Coronavirus
Unfortunately, a number of scams are emerging that are designed to take advantage of public fears surrounding COVID-19. Bogus emails designed to capture personal information, fake social media posts and other deceptive techniques have already been identified. The Federal Trade Commission offers tips to avoid the most common COVID-19 related scams.

We will provide timely updates related to our COVID-19 response that could impact you. Notifications will appear on our website, via secure messaging within online banking, and on our social media channels.
